Makes his seasonal reappearance today. Down to a mark of 138, 2 lbs below his last winning mark. Admittedly, this won't be an easy task, having to give 6 lbs in weight to the race-fit Good Boy Bobby, who I think is likely to open favorite for this event. I just think this mark is too lenient, and his ability to go well fresh is another positive. He finished a clear 2nd behind the handicap blot Malina Girl on reappearance last term, with that run coming off a 4 lbs higher mark than this. A solid run. His form figures off the back of 200+ day breaks read 141132, so lack of recent run is no bother. He's got form at this course too. He finished 3rd in the Grand National Trial off a 7 lbs higher mark than this. He's won both other runs at this course prior to that GNT run, which proves this course suits him well. If he's fit enough to go, he's got sound claims off this type of mark.
