Kagera Sugar v Young Africans
HT 0-1
Lost, profit -10.00
Kagera Sugar started their Tanzanian Premier League season with a 1-0 home loss to Singida Black Stars, with the match being a draw at half time before the visitors scored the winning goal in injury time.
Young Africans begin their defence of the title today. They have alreday played 4 competitive matches this month winning home an daway against Azam in the Community Shield and against Vital O of Burundi in the Champions League qualifiers.
All these outings should take a toll on the players and I fancy the champions to make a slow start and a first half draw looks likely as both legs against Kagera last season ended in draws at the end of the first half.
