South Africa v Germany

Group A action in the mens field hockey sees Germany taking on South Africa.

South Africa started with a 5-3 loss to the Dutch before drawing with Great Britan in a match which ended 2-2.

Germany covered the bet in a 8-2 win over hosts France before going down 2-0 to Spain.

The last H2H meeting was in 2022 in FIH Pro league which ended with 4 goals but they did meet at the last edition of Olympics in 2021 which produced 7 goals, so I fancy at least 6 today.
