He was booked for tripping in their opening match at this tourney and was booked for unsportsmanlike behaviour in their second match against Italy which meant he missed their final group match against Albania.

In the second round against Georgia he equalised after an own goal from Le Normand gave Georgia the lead and as they took control he was queit.

In the quarter finals, the hosts Germany forced extra time with a late equaliser and the extra time saw tempers flying with 6 bookings in added time and he was one o fthem for roughing so I feel that if things don't work in their favour he will resort to harsh tackling and rough play.
